Kimberly Tatum
Research Associate
Kim holds a B.A. in Anthropology and German studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She subsequently worked as a project manager at the UNC-CH School of Nursing and, later, as a Fulbright English teaching assistant at the Berufliche Schule Pinneberg. Kim completed her Master of City and Regional Planning at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta in 2016. Since January 2017, she has worked at the HafenCity University both as a teaching assistant in the urban planning degree program and as a research associate on a range of EU-funded projects related to sustainable urban development topics. She joined the CSL in October 2022 as a research associate in the MOVE21 Project. Kim's primary research interests are the impacts and implications of climate change at urban and regional levels both on the built environment and for the lived experiences and practices of inhabitants.
