Carine Ingabire
Research Associate
Carine has a Master's degree in International Material Flow Management from the Umwelt Campus Birkenfeld and a Bachelor's degree in Water and Environmental Engineering from the University of Rwanda. She has a professional background in development cooperation, which I acquired during my internship at GIZ GmbH and KFW Entwicklungsbank (Infrastructure Department / Central Africa Region). At GIZ, she worked on the Partnership on Transparency in the Paris Agreement (PATPA) project on climate policy and reporting, supporting mainly Anglophone and Francophone Africa clusters, and at KFW she worked on sustainable urban development issues, mainly on the Green City Kigali project and Environmental and Social Safeguard Framework. She also worked on the project Local Sustainable Energy Systems for Senegal(LoSENS) at IFAS and worked on topic of ecovillage development and environmental protection NGO in Rwanda.
