Anja Berestetska
Research Associate
Anja Berestetska majored in Environmental Sciences and Urban Design in Hamburg, Kyiv, São Paulo and Barcelona. She gained experience in urban, mobility and transportation planning and project management in various projects in Germany, Ukraine and Brazil. In parallel, she completed a qualification as a community interpreter. Her research interests are scientific communication, sustainable mobility planning, urban studies and translation. Before joining HCU, she worked as a research assistant at the Institute of Transportation Planning and Logistics at TU Hamburg, where she coordinated the "Mobility Lab" project, among others. At City Science Lab, she has been working as a research associate in the UNITAC project since 2023, contributing to the sustainable reconstruction of Ukraine.
